Hi there and welcome to Rhiden.

Why should you listen to me? 

I dunno. Maybe you shouldn’t. I’m just a guy on the internet after all. 

But I do think I have some things to say.

And I think I can help share a few little bits of wisdom, a couple life hacks, and maybe a unique perspective or two.

What qualifies me? Well, if anything, I guess it’d be the following.

• I’ve been doing this thing called life for 48 years. Certainly not as many as some, but enough to give me a little “street cred” I think.
• On the homefront, I’m a Dad, a Husband, a Son, and a Step-Son. 
• I’m a coach and a mentor
• I’m a writer, a builder, a thinker, a creator
• I’m a homeowner, a landlord, and an HOA president
• I’m a stock investor and a bond investor, but not a crypto investor!
• I’m a consultant, a project management professional (PMP), and a lean six sigma green belt. 
• I’m a millionaire - times 4, almost 5, and counting. 
• I left the rat race (sort of) at 40
• I’m planning to retire - for real - at 50 
• I play a little basketball, love a good hike, and generally enjoy most things with sports or outside
• I’m a traveler who has lived overseas (for a short while) 
• I’m a quoter of quotes and a consumer of knowledge
• I’ve been known to geek out on "thinky thoughts" and pontificate about passions
• I’m a planner, a resolution maker, and a dreamer
• I didn’t have it all handed to me, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t get some breaks and some help along the way.
